Ongoing Support for you and your family
Our ongoing support options are there to anticipate both changing care needs of individuals and the changing landscape of care provision. It may be that you have experience of receiving care or you are looking at securing, or changing, a care provider. We can provide you with the reassurance and guidance you may be looking for.
Below are some examples of the kind of support we can offer but please bear in mind that each circumstance is different and this list should be considered purely as a guide. If you are unsure if a phone consultation could be beneficial to you then please get in contact with us using our contact form and we will be able to advise you further. Our main objective is to support you to make informed choices. Our consultants have the knowledge and expertise to answer your queries and signpost you to supportive services where appropriate.
Advocacy - This is aimed at individuals who may feel they would like some additional expertise to support their care. Examples of this include attending appointments with Occupational Therapists to discuss needs or liaising with nurses to process discharge from hospital. Advocacy is also a valuable service when relatives may not be close by and are looking for reassurance that one of our team can support their loved one at times of need.
Let us do the research for you - Let our team take some of the stress out of the process of looking for care. After consultation with yourselves as to what your looking for, our consultant will independently research into the options available to you. This will be based on individual requirements and objective information that can be sourced through investigation. The consultant will be able to present the information for you to look at to support your decision process. Where requested, our consultants are able to highlight key features of note for consideration. This support will take unbiased view and will be provided without commentary.
Supportive Suggestions - If you are in a position where a decision needs to be made, and are in the process of weighing up options, a member of our team would be happy to use their knowledge to support productive conversation. It may be that you’re considering how to choose the best care provision, thinking about additional equipment for the home, or in need of some practical guidance towards finalising thought processes. We can help.
Regular check ins - Our support can also be organised in the form of a regular touch base arrangement whereby our team can call or visit at periodic intervals that suit you. Our team can work with you to ensure that the time is utilised as you wish. This is a popular arrangement for individuals who are looking for extra reassurance that someone is there, or for families who wish to entrust some overseeing of care to a professional who is placed to do so. A check in can take the form of many different hands on provisions. Our team will be more than happy to talk with you about how we can help you in this way.
Post Discussion reflection - If you have previously spoken to one of our consultants then we offer a follow up session at a reduced rate of £50/hr (telephone/video call) or £150 for a 2 hour face to face session. We recognise that it can be a lot to take in in one go, and you may have questions after a period of time to process. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to speak to your consultant again.
Our ongoing support services start from £50 / hour for telephone / video / remote support and £100 / hour for face to face visits. Regular arrangements are charged at reduced block rates and can be discussed with a member of our team.
Please note that prices do not include consideration for costs incurred when travelling. Our team will be happy to let you know if there would be any additional charge to services based on consultant travel and, where applicable, overnight accommodation.
